Validation & Documentation
During a kick-off meeting we will meet with the customer to review the URS (User Required Specifications) to ensure we meet the expectations of the customer. Once we have a mutual understanding of the scope of the project we can create the FDS, HDS and SDS per the customer’s requirements if desired. Upon completion of the project Dabrico, Inc. will create the IQ, OQ and PQ upon the customer’s request.
Dabrico, Inc. offers a wide variety of documentation packages and protocols. The list includes, but is not limited to the following:
– FDS (Functional Design Specification)
– HDS (Hardware Design Specification)
– SDS (Software Design Specification)
– IQ (Installation Qualification)
Used to verify components in the machine, power connections, PLC/HMI hardware as well as to verify I/O connections. This protocol will help the user verify the HDS.
– OQ (Operational Qualification)
Used to validate machine and safety functions as well as to verify operator interface. This protocol will help the user verify the FDS.
– PQ (Performance Qualification)
Used to ensure the machine performs to the expectations of the customer. This protocol will test the limits of how the machine will function and help the user validate the information in the SDS.
